He is a crafter. He can carve/chisel from wood, bone, and stone, and he can sew plush dolls which is what attracted him into taking in and taking care of Banettes. His long delicate fingers can make near life-like dolls and it's what he is most well known for.
His shop is in Eisenburg, it's called Center Stage!
Behind closed doors, he is also an alchemist. While bright and cheery, able to use his abilities on his work to give it a most life-like realism, he also has a darker side that has been picking at him to pursue the more darker forms of alchemy. Some think it might be the effect of being so attached to Banettes and Ghost-type poke'mon.

LIKES
Tatsuya enjoys hot tea, pretty much any flavor, especially Vanilla Chai. Even if the weather doesn't permit drinking something hot, he'll find a reason. 
He's a very educated man, so he adores logical discussions, debates, and learning new things. 
His two favorite colors are reflected by his attire, black and purple. 
He loves puppets, plushies, and porcelain dolls which is what attracted him to the Banettes. 
He loves silk and satin, therefore he tries to incorporate those fabrics in his own, and his doll's, outfits.
He loves all types of animals and poke'mon as well.
He enjoys music in all forms, whether it's a person, or poke'mon, playing or singing. It's a huge weakness of his.
One of his darker quirks tends to be voodoo/vodun and dark alchemy, though he won't outwardly talk about that.
He loves his shop, since it's also his home, and every creation he has in it. It's called Center Stage in Eisenburg!

Dislikes
The cold (Therefore he'll always have a mug of tea and, hopefully, a fireplace running.)
Drama. He's a very sweet-natured person and will always try to be the pacifier in a situation.
Blood. He has a hard time seeing anything hurt and he tends to get light-headed when around it.
People asking the origin of his name. It spurs a long, boring, story that he'd rather not get into.

PERSONALITY
Tatsuya is a very empathetic person. If there is a conflict, he will feel the next to fix it and make both parties happy. This led him to shelter Banettes to hopefully heal their broken hearts. He's a very laid back and submissive person, so he would happily be an errand boy as long as he's making someone happy. He's the kind of person who if he comes across a stray Arcanine, he'll go into the nearest butchery and buy it food. Or if he comes across a wounded poke-mon, he'll tear apart his own shirt and cloak to help it.
He's not a very good fighter, but he has a well toned body and he's extremely agile. He always keeps a dagger hidden on him just in case. He protects his friends until the end. He's definitely a cuddlebug if given the chance, and he has no preference between men or women. Though he's not a flirt, and in fact he usually is oblivious to flirting until it's too late. By that point he turns tomato red and stumbles.
He is very much a gentleman though and holds himself well, it's only around his friends, or poke'mon, that his child-like and affectionate personality shows.

HISTORY (There is a lot more history. But most of it is a secret in the developing storyline, so it will be revealed as it's rped out.)
Tatsuya always grew up as the timid, a-social boy who was very close to his mother. He has never met his father. Because he is half Asian (His mother), with an odd exotic name, he tended to be teased, beaten, and treated as an outcast. He learned how to cook, clean, and sew from his mother since he preferred to stay at home. 

While wandering hopelessly when he was 14 years old, right after his mother passed away, he found a Banette in an alleyway and immediately became attached to such a hurt creature. This Banette, which he fondly gave the strong name Valos, became his companion. They are linked in many ways, good and bad, including the insomnia Tatsuya suffers to the spurts of sadistic manipulation he exhibits on occasion. Since that day, he's taken in and cared for many Banettes and other ghost poke'mon, feeling for their pain of abandonment. As he grew, he became more fond of crafting and learned how to create plush dolls which he gives to children he meets. It has expanded to porcelain dolls, figurines, and even a bit of jewelry. He just adores to see people smile. He has developed a bit of a darker side since becoming close with Valos, and it's caused his science to conflict with belief. He dabbles a bit in voodoo/vodun but will not outwardly talk about it.

Lately his loneliness has gotten to him and edged him into making a partner for himself and the shop. She is a beautiful life-like and life-size doll named Demi. She is not seen around the shop as of yet, since he is still working on her form, and has also been studying dark alchemic ways to bring her to life.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
Tatsuya, if for whatever reason you manage to get his clothes off or walk in on him, has a multitude of scars on his chest, back, and shoulders from the torture children put him through about his foreign name and being a bastard son to an Asian woman.
